We were guided to the testing area in groups of four, and we were lucky to be the first group called on to give this 27-year-old fantasy a real spin.

The nutty take on the GT-II features a hairy brushed suede upper in light and dark brown to mimic the look of everybody’s favorite bushy-tailed forest and city dwelling rodents. Like many of mita’s collabs, they also throw in their shop’s blue and red colors for some mismatched medial side stripes and added blue heel tab loops. Finish them off with striped rope laces and mita’s signature chain-link fence on the insole, and the “Squrrel” GT-II is completed. Pairs will be available October 15th at mita.
