My daughter has always had very bad breath - from infancy. She's seven now. Her teeth are fine. I took her to a doctor about it once. The doctor agreed the smell seemed to come from deep, not just her mouth. They ran a blood test and all they advised after that was that she should drink more. I am afraid that her breath will push away friends as she grows older. She also always had unusually smelly stools - reminds me of ammonia. I don't know if that's related or not. Has anyone had similar experiences? Any idea what's causing the smell? I'm wondering if maybe its a digestion problem related to ACC.

I dont know enough about this to answer your question except for by experience. I struggle with bad breath as an ACCer and have my whole life. It is a digestion problem and my docter has hinted that it is connected to my ACC.

My daughter has the same problems, bad breath and smelly stools. I usually keep lysol air freshener in the bathroom. This board is such a blessing to me. Just to know that others are dealing with the same issues really helps
